Join us for a peak‑of‑summer ride as we head to Harbor Beach, Michigan, followed by an early dinner at The Lake Inn in Lapeer! This one is all about sunshine, scenery, and great company on some of Michigan’s best back roads.

🌊 First Stop: Harbor Beach

We’ll ride surface streets and winding back roads all the way to the Harbor Beach waterfront, taking in:

  • Views of Lake Huron’s blue shoreline
  • The historic Harbor Beach Lighthouse in the distance
  • Quiet coastal roads and small‑town charm
  • Plenty of photo opportunities along the harbor

It’s a perfect mid‑summer destination with that relaxed lakeside feel.

🍔 Second Stop: The Lake Inn – Lapeer

After enjoying Harbor Beach, we’ll make our way southwest to The Lake Inn, known for:

  • Beautiful views over Lake Nepessing
  • Great burgers, sandwiches, and comfort food
  • A laid‑back atmosphere perfect for a summer afternoon
  • Patio seating (weather permitting)

A great spot to cool down, refuel, and enjoy time with fellow members.

🛣️ The Ride

We’ll be avoiding the highways and sticking to scenic surface roads and rural back‑country routes. Expect:

  • Rolling farmland
  • Wooded stretches
  • Small towns
  • Plenty of classic Michigan summer scenery

This is a ride meant to be enjoyed, not rushed.

Mid‑July is prime riding season, and this route gives us two fantastic destinations in one day. Whether you’re a newer member or a long‑time rider, this is a great chance to enjoy the open road, connect with friends, and soak up everything summer has to offer.
